
Synopsis
Celtic Tiger Me Arse is a
fast-moving, comedy satire. Themes
explored are the returned emigrant, modernity, globalization, materialism,
family values, soccer fanaticism, and Ireland's place in the new millennium.
Story
After
living for ten years in New York, Joe, with his American wife Maria in tow,
decides to return to his native Dublin. There, he discovers a very different
country from the one he left behind, with its Pentium IVs and mobile phone
madness!
