As a teaching artist with
Young Audiences New York,
Justin has led up to 80 middle school students through the collaborative creation of an original play, and has also taught introductory playwriting classes.
In Washington, DC, Justin co-created the education program at
Washington Improv Theater,
which now serves hundreds of students annually. During his seven-year tenure with WIT, Justin taught improvisation at all skill levels, to adults and young people alike. He also co-created and led customized workshops for America Online, Sidwell Friends School, the American Medical Student Association, the Guide Program, and the Theatre Lab.
Justin was an instructor at the first
DC Comedy Fest
in March 2005.
