The story so far: Lindsay has studied writing with Doug Wright, Michele Volansky, and at the Great Plains Theatre Conference with Edward Albee, Arthur Kopit, Romulus Linney, Will Eno and Dr. David Crespy. She has served as a script reader for the Literary Departments of the McCarter Theatre and The Wilma Theater, and maintained a weekly reading and discussion workshop for playwrights at the Brick Playhouse. Her plays Hanging and Seven Margaritas have had site-specific productions in the 2004 and 2003 Philadelphia Fringe Festivals respectively. She lives and works in Philadelphia. Philadelphia Theatre Workshop has selected Traveling Light for the Second Annual Playshop Festival, March 7-22, 2009. Robert Smythe will direct. Please don't miss this unique experience! Hanging is one of the plays in Shelterbelt Theatre Company's FROM SHELTERBELT WITH LOVE, in Omaha, Nebraska, January 17 through Valentine's Day, 2008. Bob Fishbach of the Omaha World-Herald writes that Hanging "successfully mixes comedy and drama", and Kim Bousquet of the Council Bluffs Daily Nonpareil calls Hanging an "intense look at love." GREAT WORK, SHELTERBELT! Traveling Light was read at Walking Fish Theatre in Philadelphia, PA on Tuesday, November 20. Directed by Gerre Garrett, it starred Len Kelly, Charlie DelMarcelle, Michelle Pauls, Joe Quirk and Kurt Runco. July 1967, dawn, a cemetery in London. Joe has a possible script for Brian's groundbreaking boy band. Brian won't have anything to do with it because it's too, well, you know, queer. A month later, both of them will be dead.
