VB Leghorn started as a performer in 1996, working in film, television
and on stage. After
graduating from the Foothill Theatre Conservatory where she
earned the 1998 Performing Arts and Speech Honors Award, she received a
BA in Acting from DePaul
University in Chicago. By accident, she began writing plays
in
2006. Since then, her plays have received productions throughout
North America and her work has been published by Samuel French.
She is a member of several writing
groups including The Dramatist Guild, Theatre Communications Group, the
Playwrights Center of San Francisco, the Pear Writers Guild and the
Screen Actors Guild.
With a passion for romantic comedies, VB Leghorn has written over 100
plays about love. Okay, so a few of them are dramas, but they
all address the issue of relationships - and not just between humans. Her
publications "Collective Dating" and "Exceptional Monologues
for Men & Women Volume 1" are available through
Samuel French, Amazon.com, Borders, Barnes and Noble and other fine
bookstores.
